Whenever I am accessory shopping I always find myself making a mad dash for the rings. I was drawn to the encrusted pink Pave Elephant one because my nickname should be Elephant. "E" for Erika and also for my great memory. I'm the Birthday, Bank account, reservation, RSVP, Post-It reminder girl at home.

The Tudors

ASH WEDGES (similar style here)

Ever since I saw this editorial in Teen Vogue magazine, I've wanted to try to recreate the look. And of course, own those Ash wedges; which I am quickly finding to be a permanent fixture to my summer wardrobe. Thanks to a lovely representative over at Sophistix who sent these shorts my way, among a few other fabulous pieces. The moment I saw them I was instantly reminded of the era of pantaloons and the type of dressing showcased on Showtime's television series hit, The Tudors. Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be proud. ;)

Under the Canopy t-shirt. Sophistix shorts. Marc Jacobs cardigan. Forever 21 sunglasses. Ash Wedges (similar style here). Vintage studded bag.

Yellow Brick Road

After watching a creepy countdown on young girls being kidnapped and vanishing into thin air on E! last night, I came across this really great article. Safety Tips for Women (and men, too!) Be safe out there, folks! On a more cheerful note, who else has a celeb-crush on Freckles... aka.. Evangeline Lilly from Lost? She's peeking out of my bag from the cover of one of my favorite Elle magazine issues (May 2006). I need to buy Lost Season 4...... haven't seen it yet. I need to have it.

Trash & Luxury t-shirt. Gap shorts. Vintage Vest and Beret. Forever 21 sunglasses. Ash wedges. Target bag.

Jetset

I thought it perfect to pair this set of photographs with one of my ultimate favorite songs Viva la Vida by Coldplay (I'm betting it has a lot do with the fact that this song was used in the opening sequence of the pilot episode on the new 90210.)

Thank you so much for your comments, I am trying my best to catch up with all of them. In the meantime I answered a few things in regards to the last "Chinese Laundry" post within the comments box, *check towards the bottom. If I didn't respond with a reply last time, I'll try to catch you this time. ;)

Over the weekend, I decided I want to buy a new camera (Canon vs Nikon?) and slowly add more bodysuits to my wardrobe. The first of many is being shipped my way really soon according to an exciting email. I hope it's true! Can't wait.

Just found out- I've been added as a Bloglovin' Icon Artist here. Thank you, Team-Bloglovin!

The Strokes

A little celebratory get together is in store for the weekend. My younger brother is graduating from high school, full honors. Ice cream cake is definitely in order! Hoping to catch either Star Trek or Angels and Demons in theaters this weekend. And I'm on a hunt for the perfect pair of sturdy, yet demure, stacked-heels preferably for wholesale clothing prices. And yes, I've joined tumblr.

Walking On a Dream

I'm really into Empire of the Sun lately, thanks to a reader who sent info my way on a really great band. This Seth Cohen quote always makes me laugh... It's pronounced Tee-ah-HUANA. (Tijuana) God, Mom, you are so white. Happy Cinco de Mayo to those of you who are celebrating today!! Bananas in my cereal add a really happy note to my morning breakfast ritual. Anybody else obsessed with crossword puzzles and/or word searches? They occupy my spare time, especially when stuck in traffic. Excited for Mother's day weekend. A family gathering is in store. Lots of food and fun music. I'm sure a cheesy Powerpoint show of images past and laughter will ensue as well. Lastly, any recommendations of what's good right now, movie theater-wise? I wanted to see Obsessed with Beyoncé and Ali Larter but heard it was kind of weak? Oh and I highly recommend the Ash banyan wedges. I could spend 24 hours standing in them. Most comfortable shoes I own.

Raglan: American Apparel. Dress turned Skirt: Gift from Greece. Necklaces: Forever 21 & Anika. Wedges: Ash.
