Victoria's Secret Swimsuit Swag
Gifts courtesy of Victoria's Secret
Try saying that ten times fast. Victoria's Secret Swimsuit Swag. Talk about a tongue twister. This new swim line from Victoria's Secret Miraculous, is sure to set tongues wagging. I'm always drawn to brightly colored bathing suits. Turquoise is one of my very favorite colors to wear in the summertime. I've already tested the after sun lotion and bronzing shimmer body powder. Not only are they both flattering on, but have a delicious scent as well. I can't wait to wear this bikini in the ocean blue waters soon.
Have a happy Sunday! XO

Repeat Offender
(Fedora - Asos, Sunglasses - eBay, Eagle Shadows Top - One Teaspoon, Belt - American Apparel, Chiffon Trouser - Love, Diego Bag - Alexander Wang, Wilma Platform - Senso Diffusion)
Oh man, this One Teaspoon piece seems to be topping off too many wardrobe posts in the past two weeks. I'm sure many lookbookers are wishing that the flag button was for repeat offenders who wear the same piece in almost five looks in a row. I'm so guilty. Anyhow, I managed to pull it off with wide leg chiffon trouser the other day. What will I pair it up with next? Stay tuned.
Happy Friday, Everyone. You rock!

Whatever Gets You Through The Day
(Pink Blazer & Hat - NASTY GAL, Diego Bag - Alexander Wang, Wilma Platform - Senso Diffusion)
I seriously rock everything in this post at least three to five times a week, so I feel they needed a well deserved shout out. This wide brimmed wool hat that I purchased from NASTY GAL about four months ago, is by far the most bad ass hat that I own as it goes with just about everything. I've been wanting a light pink blazer for months, so when I stumbled across this one on NG's site, it was a no-brainer. I know the Senso Diffusion Wilma might be yesterdays news, but they finally went on sale at Karmaloop, and I couldn't resist and bought them. In my opinion, leopard print is timeless, so I see myself wearing these for years to come. Last but not least, I'm still in love with my Alexander Wang diego bag. I know it's been blogged to death, but I paid a pretty penny for this bag, and I plan on wearing it until the studs fall off, which is probably never. I bought the rocco duffle in brown last month, but I find myself still reaching for the diego when I'm topping off my outfit. What are some of your wardrobe staples that you cannot live without?

Red Varsity Jacket + Black Balloons
ASOS Boyfriend Varsity Jacket, Red Kate Bag c/o Shampalove, American Apparel Double U-Neck Dress, Chuck Taylor Optical White Converse
I have an addiction to high school based movies and television series.. maybe it's the romance, or the funny escapades that ensue? Or maybe it's the friendships? One thing holds true, my obsession with Varsity jackets. The girls always wore their boyfriend's jackets as a symbol to say they were taken. I missed my jacket and when I recently happened upon this pretty little thing in ASOS, I pounced. Do you like it?
(P.S.) I'm in a really great mood this week. I have some amazing blog-related projects to share with you guys ..soon. In the meantime, take a peek at your local newsstands. Check out the Fashion magazines.. can you find me? :)

ASHLEY ARRIVES FOR THE OPENING OF THE BROADWAY SHOW: 'ALL THE NEW PEOPLE'
DARK KNITS
trendy crew
christine centenera always has the best pieces!
at first you may think it's just a black sweater + skirt, but when you really take a closer
look they really are such lovely designs. it's that kind of quality that speaks volumes to me.
now if only i could get a better look a that gold peek-a-booing around her neck!
PRADA OMBRÉ FRAMES
ph: my own
as some of you you may remember from my last glasses post, i had been asked to be a LENSCRAFTERS ambassador + was invited to one of their stores here in NYC! when i arrived,
i had a quick eye exam where i got to see 3D images of my eyes- i'm a nerd + loved it!
i then had a fabulous time checking out their amazing selection ♥
the best part of my visit, was finding out that they could turn any sunglasses into regular glasses by switching the dark lenses with your clear prescription! this opened up a whole new world of options + i ended up with a whole tray of sunnies to consider. my top choice ended up being some gorgeous thick-framed ombré PRADA sunglasses that were turned into regular glasses for me.
they were then fitted perfectly to my face with LENSCRAFTERS ACCUFIT system, which was a godsend since one of my ears is a little higher that the other lol.
anyway, i had a great time + needless to say, i ♥ my new glasses!
ps- if you're looking for a pair, now is the perfect time to shop the semi-annual lens event!
Neon Pink and Sequins
Modekungen aviator sunglasses, Hot Topic Neon Pink Skinny Jeans, Vintage Pink Blouse and Neon Sequined Top, Similar Pink Sandals
This neon green sequined blouse, believe it or not, was my Grandmother's in the 70's. I revamped it by taking out the buttons and turning it into a loose fitting jacket. Perfect for tucking into pants. The sequins shimmer in the sunlight as if by magic. So here I am, once again playing with brights and color blocking. I threw in a few splashes of pink for fun. How do you like this casual outfit of the day?
Special thanks to my Mom for taking these photos..

ELIZABETH & JAMES CENTINELA GLASSES
ph: my own
This isn't something I normally do on OA, but I couldn't resist sharing my new glasses from the ELIZABETH & JAMES optical collection! I couldn't get the CENTINELA style out of my mind after making my post on the collection a couple weeks ago! I love the cat-eye design + the softness the tortoise color brings to the thick frames. One of my other favorite details is how the style name is etched on the inside!
You can get the centinela frames HERE or find other styles from the collection HERE.
